I’d like to receive email updates, how can I get on the mailing list?

If you already play or have played in our leagues, you will already have a User ID.  To get on the e-mail list, click here and login to the database.  Update your user profile by clicking Modify/Review Personal Profile.  Check the boxes below 'I wish to receive the following eNewsletters and Event Info'

If you don't already have a User ID, you can create one at the the same link.

I want to register a team, how do I do that?

Registration for any league is done by clicking the 'Register Here' button on the top left of the screen.  The Register page lists all leagues and events that are currently available for registration.  Click on the relevant link (make sure you select the correct sport, night and division).

Login using your User ID and Password (If you don't have one, then create one by selecting Option 3).  Select your team name and add your roster.  The roster can be created by inputting your player's User ID's, or if they don't have a User ID, you must input their First Name, Last Name and e-mail address.

You are required to enter the specified number of players (and meet minimum gender requirements).  You will not be able to proceed if you have not met these requirements.

Once you have entered your roster, proceed to the payment section.

PAYMENT IS MADE VIA REAL-TIME CREDIT CARD TRANSACTION ON THE WEBSITE DURING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS.  ONCE PAYMENT HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY SUBMITTED, THEN THE REGISTRANT will receive an onscreen and an e-mail confirmation.  If you do not receive a confirmation, then you have not successfully registered.

I want to register my team, but I don't have all the User ID's for my team.  How do I get them?

If you have registered the same team (or a similar team) in the past, you would have received a confirmation email at that time.  This has all the User ID's for those players.  You can reference that email.  You should also contact your team members to give them your User ID's.  If this is not possible, you can contact us and we will find them for you.

Please do not guess at the spelling of their name or their e-mail address.  If they have played in our leagues, they will have a User ID.  By entering incorrect information, additional User ID's will be created, and will not recognize Membership or waiver status.

If a team captain submits an obviously false name and/or e-mail address on their roster, they will be subject to a $25 administration charge to correct this informatioN.

Can I request specific schedule times and specific gyms?

We do our best to try to even out schedules so that teams have an equitable distribution of game times (indoor leagues) or field locations (outdoor leagues).  Unfortunately, this is not always possible.

If you do have a specific request (ie. only 6:45pm games, no 6:45pm games, only at Monarch Park, etc.), we will do our best to accommodate you, subject to other requests in your division, and given our permits.  These requests must be made at registration. Please note there are NO requests for specific times or locations for playoffs.

Can I sign up as an Individual?

YES, just chose the night and division, click on register me.  We will then place you on a team with other individuals that you will play with for the rest of the season. For details at to the location of your first match, and for the list of your teammates, please check the web site approximately a week before leagues begin. For Beach Volleyball individuals, you will have to wait until your first night at the beach at the Individuals Check in,  to find out what team you are on.

What if I would like to be on the same team as my friend?

You will both have to register separately online and put in the comment sections that you want to be on the same team as each other.  If you forget, please email info@notsopro.com  your request. Make sure to include the night, sport and division you are playing on.

All players are automatically members and eligible to receive great discounts from our sponsors.

How do I sign the on-line waiver?

 Go to the 'update your profile' link at www.notsopro.com/toronto/login.htm

If you don’t know your user id and password to log on, you can have it emailed to you by selecting ''Option 2 - I have forgotten my USER ID# and/or my PASSWORD.  Tell me what they are'.  Once you have logged in, just follow the instructions to sign your waiver.

How can I find out my schedule and what team I am on?

All schedules are on the website via the Schedules link, click on the night and division you signed up for.  You will find the teams and standings, and at the bottom of that page you will see a tab that will say “schedules” click on that to see your times and location.  PLEASE NOTE: For Beach Volleyball, all schedules are posted the DAY OF, at the beach. The schedules link will only show the previous week’s results and standings.

Why did my schedule change?

Schedules are sometimes forced to change, usually due to schools being unavailable for a particular night.  As soon as we are notified of these changes, we post these changes on the website.  Usually, we have at least one week's warning of these changes, but sometimes we are not notified ourselves until the day of or the day before a schedule change.  It is the responsibility of the school and the permit department to inform us of any changes in a timely manner, but this does not always happen.  Please bear with us as we have no control over these changes.

In these circumstances when a schedule is forced to change, we also make every effort to personally contact those players affected by the change.  We will make a phone call to the team captain, as well as sending an e-mail to all the players that will be affected.  This is why it is very important that all roster information is correct and up to date.  It is beyond our control to notify players if a) their e-mail address or phone number is not correct; or b) the captain did not register the proper information.

If I have missed the registration deadline what should I do?

Sometimes there are still spots available for teams to even up a division or for Individuals to fill up an Individuals team. Please check the website. If registration is still open you will be able to register online even AFTER the deadline. If the spot you want is full then contact us to see if we could take you or put you on a waiting list at leagues@notsopro.com.

Just leave all of your details and WE WILL GET BACK TO YOU IF WE NEED YOU.

Example: Jane Smith – Female – Individual – Tuesday or Wednesday Recreation Volleyball.  Day contact # 416–555-5555 x21, e-mail address: janesmith@hotmail.com.

What if the other team doesn’t show up?

Unfortunately, defaults are OUT OF OUR CONTROL.  Therefore, we cannot give refunds or re-schedule games. The defaulted team will be contacted and given a warning and will lose the match.  Teams without opponents are still welcome to utilize the facilities during their scheduled game time, for practice.

What if it is raining, do we still go to our games?

Yes, please go to your game.  Obviously if it is lightning or the field is under water it will be called at the field between the two captains for flag football, ultimate frisbee, soccer and softball.  For Beach Volleyball, any decisions to cancel will be made at the beach by the co-ordinators no sooner than 6:45pm.

How many times can our team default?

Teams will receive a warning after their first two defaults, and WILL be ejected from the league (with no refund) if your team defaults a third time.

Can I get contact details for another member or teammate from NOT SO PRO?

No, we never give out any personal information without that person's consent.  You will need to exchange details at your next game.

If you have a request to contact another member, we will forward your information, one time only, to that person, and they can choose to respond.
